CIPR EA GiveBack 2018
Giving up two hours of your time for a great cause is an amazing way to meet new people, have fun and earn CPD points. Last year CIPR East Anglia chose Carers Trust Cambridgeshire as its charity and CIPR East Anglia volunteers spent a Hackathon morning in St Ives, Cambridgeshire. It was an amazing morning and it helped a lot of people.
This year our chosen charity is Your Own Place a social enterprise whose aim is to prevent youth homelessness in East Anglia by equipping young people with the skills, confidence and knowledge to live safely and securely in their homes. They achieve this by continually developing innovative and entrepreneurial solutions as well as collaborating for the benefit of their young people. By working restoratively and delivering high quality interventions, they create a culture of empowered and independent young people.
