Trudy is a communications consultant and executive coach with a passion to help business leaders and their teams become more engaging and impactful through communications.
Trudy has over 18 years’ experience as a communications professional with a focus on strategic internal communications, employee engagement and communications for change programmes. She founded Lewis Communicate in 2014, has an MA in Communications Management, and is a Chartered PR practitioner and Board Director of the CIPR.
Trudy is also a qualified Executive Coach and incorporates coaching as an approach to her consulting in communication. Helping leaders and professionals create space to think and move forward to achieve success.
Trudy’s talk is on Leading the way – The communicator’s role to achieve successful change. Communication is critical to the success of any organisational change, yet statistics still tell us that more than 70% of change programmes fail. There is also a sense that change is the new norm, which in itself creates a number of challenges. The question is, how can we influence and change this? I believe it is time for communications to take centre stage in the process of change. And as practitioners, we need to be ready to lead the way and add strategic value, based on what we know good communications can achieve.
