Chris is an experienced internal communications and engagement expert. Initially, he started his career in Learning and Development with Sainsbury and Debenhams. Whilst at Debenhams he established their first internal communications department, managing the employee communications programme during a private equity takeover.
Since then he has held roles at Anheuser-Busch InBev, Cadbury, AstraZeneca and EDF Energy. His experience encompasses mergers and acquisitions, advising CEO’s and leadership teams, crisis management and employee engagement – always with a focus on helping employees understand and engage with the organisation strategy.
More recently Chris has established Tillard Communications, a specialist internal communications consultancy.
