Donald Whitney is Associate Professor of Biblical Spirituality and Associate Dean of the School of Theology at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He pastored for 24 years, and is the author of Spiritual Disciplines for the Christian Life (NavPress, 1991). He wishes more believers really understood and acted upon "the need to pray for reformation and revival in the American church." If he could change one thing about himself, it would be "to think with the mind of Jonathan Edwards or preach like C.H.
