About:
Daniel Bennett is the author of A Passion for the Fatherless, a book he authored while serving as a family pastor. The book was the fruit of his efforts to help his church develop a biblically grounded, God-centered ministry to orphans. He received his Master of Divinity from Moody Bible Institute and a Doctorate of Ministry in Expository Preaching from Southern Seminary. Daniel is now the Senior Pastor of Bethany Community Church, a church plant from Bethany Baptist in the neighboring city of Washington, Illinois. He and his wife, Whitney, have four children, Hannah, Austin, Noah, and Ellie. In addition to pastoral work, Daniel enjoys spending time with his family, date nights with his wife, reading, swimming, and running.
